Comes out tomorrow. I definitely am, though I'm not sure if I can even watch it until the weekend...

I've read in a couple of places that the movie has been slightly re-edited, but Steve made no mention of it in his review. So I don't know what to think about that.

Actually TUC will join TMP and TWOK as the only special editions I bought.

I bought TMP because I wanted to see the revised effects and editing, TWOK I bought because I liked the movie and TUC because, again, I liked the movie.

The movie has had some scenes inserted that were on the TV version that were deleted in the theatrical release.

They were the same scenes added for the original home video release, right? Becuase I read that it was different from that, as well.

I bought them all so far, simply because I don't have them on DVD and because they're better than the original DVD releases. Also, because I like them all. Even "Final Frontier" which is hugely underrated.

Yeah, by like 10 dollars. Another reason I'm buying the 2-disc versions.

The movie has been re-edited. During the mind-meld scene on the bridge, we see flashes of the culprits as Spock and Valeris say their names. Two wider shots of the bridge during this scene have been replaced by close-ups of Kirk and McCoy, as well. The scene where Scotty finds the uniforms with the Klingon blood on them has a new shot in it, too.

And, the artwork on the second disc, the disc label, is not only upside down, but it's an image from "Star Trek Generations," not "Undiscovered Country." Weird.
