New Voyages gains legitimacy?

Has the world turned upside-down? Are cats and dogs now playing together in the street?

ehh, big deal, 'Rod' is another ne'er do well who is trying to ride his father's tattered coattails to fame and fortune, Majel couldn;t and neither will he -- BAH

Don't get me wrong. I think any Roddenberry work with Star Trek would spell its death knell (I have a post somewhere here about how Majel ruined E:FC). However, I find it interesting that he's affiliating himself with a fan project.

Yeah, I don't know what it is about this guy that just bothers me. No one in TREK fandom has heard about/from/of him until about two or three years ago (maybe) and now he comes off as the official voice and judgement of all things TREK.
