![]() | Talk about sloppy. What a terrible episode. It had no idea what it was doing until about three fourth's of the way through, and even then couldn't redeem itself. And once again, it toys with the Clark and Lana relationship without actually going anywhere, even when it seemed like they were going to. YUCK. What HAPPENED this season? Nearly every episode has been boring, or terribly put together. The relationships of the characters are muddled beyond recognition. Pete and Chloe seemed to disappear for episodes at a time, and when they bring them back, they're embroiled full-on in a storyline that should have been happening the entire year. Sloppy. Messy. Terrible. Here's hoping that S4 picks up again, because this year was sorely disappointing.

| The Awesome One | Yeah, I couldn't believe how badly paced the ep was. Everything moved WAYYY too fast. By the time I caught on to one storyline, they were already halfway through the next one. I honestly think there were about 6 different plotlines to the whole episode. It was like they were rudhing to cram all this stuff in before the finale. Oh well, there's still hope that the finale will be better, although I suspect it'll be another "give them all kinds of information and story without actually DOING anything" kind of episode. Smallville is starting to excel at that, just teasing around the edge of a story from the mythos eps, but never actually adressing it. They always seem to have all kinds of new threads to add, but rarely follow up on them. So far the only plotline actually going anywhere is the conflict between the Luthors. Although we are starting to get into Lex, and his eventual fall into evil.

![]() | The shit going down between Lex and his father is dragged out and beaten to death far too much, but it's still the saving grace of the show this year, which isn't saying much. It's gone somewhere, but not too far.

| The Awesome One | Well, we know that Pete is gone. That leaves a few others we may lose. Pa Kent has been slowly moving off the radar, I don't know if that's a sign of things to come, but who knows. Clhoe is my favourite pick for characters leaving the show. Not that I WANT the character to go, but I think she's the most likely. Lana won't, we all know it. She may go to Paris, but we all know TPTB aren't gonna give up on "Clana". Of course it does look like their moving towards something between Lex and Lana, which would completley and utterly disgust me.

| Lover AND a Fighter | I pretty much agree with all points mentioned. It was a wasted episode. The only thing worth watching was the last minutes with th arrest of Lionel. Thats it. Anyone wanna bet the finale ends with Clark walking through an opening in the cave with this 'mysterious' chick and disappears? (note: I haven't read any spoilers sites for a while now.)

| Astro-Monkey | I hope they get rid of Lana. Either evolve the character & her dynamic with Clark, or boot her off to Paris. Let Clark deal with being abandoned by two of his best friends, knowing that his actions drove them off. But I'm sick of watching episodes like last night, where the only real drama is if Clark will tell Lana his secret, and we all know that he won't.

| The Awesome One | Actually, in the Superman mythos, I think that Clark had told Lana about his powers when he was younger, Mind you Smallville tends to be an all new "interpretation" of that mythos, so they may change it, but I'm pretty sure Lana will end up finding out. I don't think it'll happen for awhile, but it will.

| Astro-Monkey | Yes, but her finding out is the highest peak for their relationship. Once they get there, there's no place else for them to go, except their separate ways. Sure, they might be together for a while, but we already know they love each other. That's not new. And we know that Clark ends up with Lois. So, ultimately all this teasing only shows what little these two characters can do together. And, when they do tell Lana, it'll all be over for her.

| Religious Fanatic | See, Smallville looks good, but it's just not on a channel I'm likely to watch over here...
