![]() | ...Kicked my ass, picked me up, swung me around like a rag-doll, beat me against a wall, punched me in the gut, put me back together and then did it all again. It was like a religious experience in 2 hours and 7 minutes.

| Astro-Monkey | Meh. I thought the pacing was bad. There was about a half hour there I really just wanted to go to sleep. They could have condensed it into an hour and a half, told a more focused version of this story, and had a better result. And I'm not sure I liked anything that happened between Doc Oc speeding up the train and the end. Another thing that really bugs me about the three Marvel movies I've seen (have not seen the X-Men...) is that there seems to be two stories. The hero's story and the villain's story. And the fact that the two meet is purely by accident.

| The Awesome One | I saw it over the weekend, and Sirgets can atest to how wound up it got me. I think it was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Much better than the first. Although I do have to agree with Arik, there was one spot where it just drags on, but I can forgive because the rest of the movie makes up for it. The biggest thing that took me by suprise SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER * * * Was the Goblin stuff. I FUCKING LOVED IT! Not just because it's another piece of the Spiderman mythos they managed to include in an "uncheap" way, but because it took me completley by suprise. As soon as I heard the laughing in Harry's big scene near the end, I knew they were doing something with it, but then when we see Norman in the mirror, I was noticeably suprised. Add to that the "Goblin Room" and I was knocked off my ass! I didn't expect it in any way shape or form. I figured they might foreshadow it much like the first movie, but not actually make the connection, boy was I wrong. Doc Ock, heh, they couldn't have picked a better actor. Although I wasn't very pleased with they're decision to give his arms such a part as they did. It was almost like they were characters. Everytime Ock used the word "we" when referring to himself and the arms, I was reminded of Gollum. Hell, when he started the second fusion reaction I half expected to here a slithery "My precious" come from him. Anyways, all in all, I loved the movie, and I can't wait till the third one!! ![]()

![]() | The only thing I wish had been done differently with Harry was I wish Peter would just fucking slap him and be like, "Damn it, dude, I didn't kill your psycho father!"

| The Awesome One | Yeah, I was kind of hoping they'd explore that a little more to, and have Peter at least TRY and explain, but then that would tae away from the tragedy of Harry going down the same path. The second Goblin was never about evil like the original, he was more about a tragic character bent on revenge. IMHO of course.
