![]() | I really miss "25th Anniversary," "Judgment Rites," and "A Final Unity". I have 25th and JR on CD, but I can't get them to work under 2000 or XP, and I just plain can't find Unity anywhere. I've considered trying to buy it again, but Amazon doesn't have it, and I try to stay away from eBay whenever possible. I recently dug "Star Trek: Borg" out, but couldn't get that to work with XP, either.

| Religious Fanatic | I've yet to buy Rites. I have 25th running perfectly on 2000 with DOSBox and Unity is a lost cause in 2000 for me though, I've got it playable in my 98 boot, These are the problems I've had: The sound still cuts out half a second every now and then, and the mouse control is a little buggy, as I sometmes have to move my optical mouse all the way accross my desk 2 or 3 times to get the cursor across the screen vertically. And finally, the biggest problem is that DOSBox crashes when you try to return to the bridge after using the tactical display, which is avoidable upto the part where the Romulans invade. According to the DOSBox site, both TOS games are fully supported.

![]() | Hm... Give this "DOSBox" a try. What they should really do is just release updated versions of these games to make them XP and 2000 compatible.

![]() | I mourn the loss of Starfleet Academy - I only ever completed the first couple of levels. It refused to recognise that I had spare disk space under W2K. I tried formatting a 5Gb Win32 partition but it the claimed not to be supported - and XP just refused to load full stop.

![]() | I didn't like Starfleet Academy. I prefered Klingon Academy, even though I only had the demo.

| Religious Fanatic | If you get DOSBox you'll HAVE to read the readme or you won't have a clue what to do.
