![]() | The Wraith... eat... PEOPLE. That was so cool. "Stargate Atlantis" totally rocked. I liked the characters, I liked the new tech. Special effects were awesome. Sets are great. And the Wraith. I was worried, but they are definitely no Goa'uld rip-off. I'm really willing and able to learn more about these guys. What did everyone else think?

| It's me again | Loved it...Liked the new stargate with the lights spinning around the perimeter. I loved the Wraith (now i know what happened to that singer Pink..LOL) I thought the story was a bit week, if it turns into VOY searching for power sources every week, I am going to get turned off pretty quick. And maybe it is a nit, but after 8 years they now find out they can lock in 8 chevrons. Where all of a sudden did this capacity come from? I loved the stargate floating in space, way cool.

| Astro-Monkey | It came from the second season episode when Jack first got the knowledge of the ancients downloaded into his brain. He used an 8-chevron address to get to the Asguard's planet. However, he first had to design a power source to power the gate to be able to make the lock.

![]() | I was wondering about that, too... I think it's high time I started getting SG-1 on DVD. I'll earmark it on my list, right after "Futurama Vol. 4" and "Sliders" in August, "Alias S3" and "Angel S4" in September... Oy.

| Religious Fanatic | The episode Arik's refering to is called "The Fifth Race", and it's one of the best SG-1 episodes you can get, and it was really the first time we got to see "serious" Jack, which is a rare occurance. Another one is "Ascension" (I think) which is the one where Daniel gets killed and ascends. I think it's great to see these little peaks at him, because Jack really is more intelligent than he lets on, and isn't just a witty action hero.

![]() | Yeah, it did... Though, as it ended, I was like, "I wonder how long it'll be till the 'creature in the city' episode was done..." Looks like I don't have to wait long. Also... I'm getting kinda tired of the "alien influence jumps from person to person" episode.

| Religious Fanatic | Well, I was really not expecting them to be based in the other galaxy, I thought they'd be on Earth and the Wraith just be their foil most of the time. The city itself was...amazing, but I didn't quite get what was going on at the start with that "Millions of Years Ago" thing, prolly cause I was watching a low quality video and couldn't make it out that well, can't wait till it comes on TV. I also thought the whole show felt more "grand" than SG-1, like it was on a much bigger scale.

![]() | The prologue set millions of years ago was the city when it was still on Earth, lifting off and flying into space.
