![]() | Not bad on either front. I was expecting worse from SG-1, frankly, but tying it into Anubis was enough to push it past "mediocre". There were a few good parts, mostly O'Neill humor, but this was a pretty dull episode otherwise. Where was the Goa'uld who asked for asylum? Maybe I missed it, but was there any mention of him at all? Atlantis was better. Strangely, it felt like it was tied to SG-1 in a way, dealing with weirdo Ancient stuff, black airborne entities. It wasn't bad at all. McKay's shield problem was hilarious all the way through. Sheppard teaching the aliens about hockey and football was good, but where did they get the footage of a football game? I find it hard to believe that would be on a manifest going to another world... Though, that's probably me still thinking in terms of stuffy "Star Trek", and not the fun-loving universe of Stargate.

| Astro-Monkey | Haven't watched Atlantis all the way through yet, but Weir did come into the room and say "You had one personal item, and this was it?" (or something like that) when they were watching the game.

![]() | That Canadian sci-fi channel (space?) isn't going to be airing them?

| Lover AND a Fighter | Nope. I check, though they're still airing SG-1. Its ok, I discovered with a simple websearch that TMN is broadcasting it every Monday night @8pm. Which is like our version of HBO. Uncensored & uncut commercial free programming! YAY!

![]() | I'd be willing to pay for more channels without commercials. It's part of the reason why I get so much stuff on DVD - no damn commercials. No missing scenes because of damn commercials. Better audio/visual quality.
