Unhappy Bummer, my favorite show looks cancelled

What a bummer. USA had this great series "Touching Evil" on, and now it looks as though they've cancelled it. Maybe if more promotion had been done some more folks would have watched - I'd have settled for half the promos they do for Monk or the Dead Zone (which I admit are good too)...

I never watched it, though I was intrigued by the commercials I did see. Maybe there'll be a DVD set.

I hear there's one due out in the fall, actually. Do rent it - Bruce Willis and the Hughes Brothers did a good job creating, producing, and directing this show.

Besides, Vera Famiglia is a hottie!

If you haven't already, see if you can get your hands on the BBC version of the show. Creegan's character isn't quite as driven (and he wears a tie), but they lifted the scrips almost word for word in some parts.

But if the show is dead, at least it went out on a high point.

Yeah, I'd buy the DVD set just for Vera. The fact that the series was fuckin' awesome is just icing on the cake.

So this wasn't an original show, it was a remake of a UK show?

Yeah, they lifted the plots, and gave the main character a similar backstory (shot, died, was brought back).

The American Creegan lost his impulse control, while the British Creegan re-assimilated into society. There are other differences between the shows (the direction and music in the American show is a lot better).

One funny scene in the pilot demonstrated Creegan's lack of shame from his frontal lobe injury when he started to strip while on board an airline - Vera's character was both embarrassed and curious at the same time!

Confirmation the show was cancelled today. Bruce Willis even offered to appear in at least one episode and USA still wasn't interested. Sheesh.

Well it is only Bruce Willis. He's not exactly picky about where he lands his face, I mean just look at Demi Moore
