![]() | Here's the teaser for our "Smallville" project. Ignore the formatting... I can't really center stuff without putting in a lot more effort than I feel like. The episode is called "Krypton-ite". TEASER FADE IN: 1 EXT. ROAD – DAY CLARK, CHLOE, and PETE are walking along the road, carrying backpacks. Behind them, a school bus drives off into the distance, kicking up a cloud of dust on the dirt road. CLARK Man, chem. tests are going to kill me next week. CHLOE You could always join the football team. Again. CLARK What does that have to do with chemistry tests? CHLOE You wouldn’t need to pass the tests. PETE Now, Chloe, you know that the new coach doesn’t have any funky flame-throwing powers. Nor any real powers of persuasion. We sucked last week. CLARK Cheating and football… two things that probably wouldn’t go over too well with my parents. PETE Well, for a good grade, I think my dad would sanction just about anything. CLARK Yeah, right, Pete, that’s why you were towel-boy for two weeks after you bombed Mrs. Peterson’s English paper. PETE Maybe I just understand responsibility. Did you ever think of that? (grins) CHLOE Well, guys, this is my exit… CLARK See you. PETE Later. Chloe leaves. 2 EXT. ROAD – DAY Pete and Clark continue along a new part of the road. In the distance, we hear a train whistle. PETE Here’s me, Clark. Later. CLARK Bye, Pete. Pete leaves. 3. EXT. RAILROAD CROSSING – DAY We hear another train whistle in the distance as Clark nears the crossing. Up ahead, past the lowered barriers, Clark sees a young boy standing squarely in the center of the tracks. The train is getting closer, and the whistle blows again. CLARK Hey! HEY! The boy doesn’t respond, and Clark runs toward him. He runs so fast that he becomes a BLUR. As the train moves in slow motion, the boy turns at NORMAL SPEED as Clark runs up to him. He grabs Clark, and twists around, throwing Clark off in the air. He turns back to the train, just as it hits him in the shoulder, launching him off as well. 4. EXT. IMPACT DITCH – DAY Clark shakes his head and stands up, brushing dirt off his clothes. He takes off his jacket, and sees that it is ripped in the back. Frowning, he looks up toward the train tracks – and we see that he is now SEVERAL HUNDRED YARDS away! Clark dashes off at super-speed toward tracks. 5 EXT. RAILROAD CROSSING – DAY Clark stands in the middle of the tracks, and looks around. Nearby, he sees a cluster of trees with several trees knocked down. 6. EXT. TREES – DAY Clark enters the cluster of trees through an impact ditch like his own, and looks around – the boy is nowhere to be found. CLARK What the…? FADE OUT END OF TEASER
