 |  "Zero Hour" redux I banged this out this morning. It's how I think the final act of "Zero Hour" should have gone instead of that silly thing with the Nazis. I was gonna post this on TW, but then I thought I'd run it past you guys first before it faces the bitter masses. I'm afraid it might be too heavy handed, maybe too dreary. But I wanted to get across that this crew has been through a lot, that they want to celebrate, but they just can't. Some of the dialogue is a bit sketchy, too.

   | i liked it a lot. Hopefully the "VOICE" was not FutureGuy's or Daniels', even though it makes sense, it's predictable.

| I dunno, I just kinda threw it in there. I guess that makes me just as guilty as B&B. Without it, I think it would make a fine series finale. I'm not even sure I'll keep it, but I thought since it's a season finale, and Archer isn't leaving the show, then the audience needs SOMETHING to string it along, just not the ridiculous Nazi thing. As an audience we need to know that Archer is still alive, and there's a mystery to be solved. The Nazi ending accomplishes that, but in an absurd and laughably bad way, and destroys the emotional closure we need after this long arc.

| plus Enterprise being shot at by WW2 aircraft makes even less sence.

| I think it might be cool if it were Shran - if the Andorians had more powerful transporter technology than the Xindi, and at the last second rescued Archer. But I don't know why they wouldn't return him to Earth. I'd like to avoid random time-travel type shit... but it's hard to do and still keep Archer alive.
