![]() | Once again, just a simple explanation of the characters and where they'd go this season, and an outline of episode plots for a 22-episode season. I tried to put in a few stand-alone sci-fi concept stories in additiont to the more plot-driven, political stories about the Federation/Klingons/Romulans. I also wanted slightly more of an emphasis on the relationships between the characters, romantic or otherwise, though there certainly would be more romance this year than previously. I have some drawings of technology and whatnot, but I don't have access to a scanner until Monday, but you'll be seeing those soon enough.

| Pornstar | Weird, I've got Ilia coming aboard in the second season of my re-imaging too (after Savvik dies in the penultimate episode of year one). Kirk initiates a taudry affiair with Ilia right off the bat (essentially taking advantage of her culture's open sexual nature). Kirk is 'looking for comfort' in season two, getting carried away with Ilia and a couple other women. Also, Rand is added to the cast, a young mousy transporter chief enamored with Kirk like he was a rock star. He is, of course, only barely aware of her existance (although eventually Kirk falls for her later in the series). You see, Tiberius (that's his first name, although his nickname is still "Jim") spent season one coming to grips with his insecuries regarding the command position thrust upon him in the pilot episode "The Harsh Light of Fate" (the how and why of his ascent in the ranks is kind of serentipitous and ties in with the first season story arc involving the Gorn and his brother), the Kirk of season two is more comfortable being captain of the Entperprise. He's celebrating his looks and noteriety. He gets a bit cocky in fact, losing his way a bit. A few other tidbits: At the end of the "In The Harsh Light of Fate", Kirk, Spock and Bones are caught in a cave-in (too much writing to explain how they got there). Kirk takes the worst of it, so Spock reluctantly uses a mind-meld, temporarily transfering his Vulcan 'brain over body' discipline, to keep Jim alive. However, with Spock being unable to physically touch Kirk, Bones has to serve as the intermediary between the two. The experience forever bonds the three... The Gorn are considered mythical like Bigfoot or Nessie (that is until they're discovered)... Checkov, Scotty and Uhura are not on the show yet... Savvik is the fligh controller... the Enterprise is sort of a generational ship, having promoted from within for over thirty years... Pike is paralyzed in "In The Harsh Light of Fate" and kicked upstairs to fleet admiral... Pike promotes Kirk to first officer and then on to captain all in the first episode (it makes sense, dont worry)... Sulu is a 60 year old chief petty officer (Kirk's 'Obi-Wan') and his daughter Denora runs the ship's bar/lounge... Chapel is the ship's psychiatrist (her affection for Spock begins as mere clinical interest)... Spock's half human ancestory is not common knowledge and doesn't come out to Kirk and Bones until episode two ("When the Shrouded is Lifted")... Bones develops an addiction to a neural inhibitor, designed to block specific memories (i.e. his memories of euthanizing his father and the cure that was later found)... Cyrano Jones makes an appearance... M'Ress (from the animated series) is a night-shift bridge officer and Kyle runs the transporter room... Willard Decker is Kirk's first officer (he and Jim had been professional rivals under Pike and still are to a point)... Samuel Kirk had also once been in Starfleet, and despite his brilliance, he wasn't able to interact well with others. He was drummed out of the service...
