Something keeps eating my cookies!

It seems that every other day, my cookies seem to reset or something, thus causing the new topics indicators to show no new posts even though I know there are posts that I haven't read.

I have a theory that this may be happening every time Vis works on the software. Is this the case Vis or am I doing something that causes this to happen?

I have not done anything to this board since my last post in the Angry Beaver forum, except add new smilies.

Server-side, I haven't done anything to the way cookies work for a very long time.

I think I know what the problem is, sometimes I get a full page borderless msn or similar search engine page. I have to ctrl+alt+del to get rid of it as there is nothing else I can do to get rid of it. It closes my regular browser too, and it seems as though it resets my cookies.

That's the only thing I can think of that might be doing it, it seems to co-incide with this phenomenon. Everything was working fine last time I checked the AB index page, and it just happened again and the cookies seem to have reset.

Any thoughts?
