| It's me again | I was just wondering, since I believe we are looking for new members right, is there anyway we can send out an invite from the AB to someone we may want to visit on a regular basis. I mean obviously we can send an email or tell someone, but is there a way to set up an icon that would send a pre-formated invite to someone to check out the AB. All we would have to do is enter an email address and our handle. When the person receives it, all they would have to do is click on a link and be taken right to the AB. Just a thought.

| The Awesome One | Care to elaborate? I seriously think that is spam. I hate getting stupid emails from my friends that basically say "check this site out". It's spam. It doesn't matter that the website managed to sucker my friend into sending it to me, it's still spam, plain and simple.

| It's me again | OK, if that is how you are defining SPAM, then yes it would be. I was defing SPAM as just a blind emailing out of invites to dozens or hundreds of people. I don't usually have people I know inviting me to web sites, and if I did, I would presume it was one that they thought I would be interested in. Using my marketing skills, I thought if we sent something to an ondividual with a link, by clicking on the link they get to see the site and (like I did) troll around to see if they want to hang out. Rather then a verbal recommendation which usually goes no where.

Yeah it could be considered spam. But only by certain people. Other people might appreciate it (I'm not one of those, but that's neither here nor there...). And, since it's a free marketing technique, I'd be inclined to try it.

| The Awesome One | Why do I picture a group of men who run porn sites that spam people, sitting around a table discussing spam when you say "some people might appreciate it".

| Astro-Monkey | I don't know. It's a completely different thing. The group of men are filling your inbox, despite the fact that you may not care about human-animal relationships, promoting their site. You email them back, asking to be removed from their mailing list and you get added to twenty other lists. This is something where, if you have a friend who sends it to you, you can always email that friend and tell them to stop filling your inbox with garbage. It just automates something that's been available since the dawn of time.
